Welcome Letter Fall 2020 - 1st year students

Congratulations to the admission to the International Business Strategy master programme (EAIS2) at the School of Business and Economics in Kalmar! We are looking forward to welcoming you to the programme fall 2020 – Note, that due to the situation with the corona virus, we will welcome all first-year students to join us digitally for the fall semester (from 31st of August to mid-January 2021).

The programme contains studies in international business strategy, marketing and entrepreneurship which will deepen your theoretical knowledge in the area as well as your practical insights through case-based reports. As part of an international programme, the cross-cultural learning environment will spur your knowledge development and create an arena for personal growth.

Introduction

The programme introductions will take place Monday 31st of August between 10.15 and 12.00 Swedish time via the programme/app Zoom. Please download and try out your video and microphone beforehand. Zoom will be the main digital tool for lectures, seminars, supervision etc. MyMoodle will be the main digital tool for communication, information, schedule etc for the programme and the courses. In order to give access to the introduction to all students,  it will be recorded and put to the programme website to review after the session.

Please also note the university introduction days during the week prior to programme start (separate invitation will be sent). We highly recommend you to take part of that information to get the best start of your studies.
